LAHORE (Dunya News) – Punjab government spokesperson Fayyazul Hassan Chohan has been tasked to appease disgruntled Jahangir Tareen group, said sources.
According to the sources, the Punjab government has adopted new strategy as Chohan mobilized to break up Tareen group. He also initiated contacts with the members of Tareen group.
The sources said that Chohan initiated to contact with the members of the Tareen group. “Chohan contacted Sardar Khuram Khan Laghari and MPA Abdul Haye Dasti. He is liaising with the Tareen group on the directions of Prime Minister Imran Khan and Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar,” it added.
It was also reported that the members of Tareen group will be convinced to work under party discipline through contacts and their constituencies’ issues will be addressed on a priority basis. The Punjab government spokesperson would also contact with other members of the disgruntled group.
On the other hand, Sardar Khurram Leghari – a key member of Tareen’s group – called on Fayyazul Hassan Chohan at his office in GOR and discussed issues of mutual interest. During the meeting, the future strategies were also discussed. Meanwhile, Sardar Khurram Leghari will also meet the chief minister soon.
