Interior Ministry abolishes arms license quota system for MPs
About 200,000 licenses were issued during PPP tenure.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Interior Ministry has abolished arms license quota system for members of Parliament.
According to sources, all parliamentarians can now get only one license on their name and Interior Ministry will have the right to issues licenses for Prohibited Bore.
Sources further said that during tenure of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) about 200,000 licenses were issued including 80,000 for Kalashnikov and 222 for rifles.
