Punjab govt retrieves 210 kanals land
LAHORE (Dunya News) - The Punjab government retrieved 210 kanals of land in a major operation against land grabbers. So far, more than Rs 450 billion worth of land has been recovered.
Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar in a tweet said that another 210 kanals of land worth Rs 260 million was recovered in an operation against a notorious land mafia group in Lahore today.
He said that in the past, government lands were seized under government and political patronage. So far, we have retrieved over 155,000+ acres of land worth over Rs 450 billion from land grabbers, he added.
