Seven die in truck-van collision at Indus highway
KARAK (Dunya News) - Seven people were killed and eight others were injured in a horrific collision between a truck and a van on the Indus Highway. The passenger van was going from Karak to Peshawar.
According to police sources, the accident took place near Ranginabad Chowk on the Indus Highway when a passenger vehicle traveling from Karak area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to Peshawar collided with a truck coming from opposite direction due to over speeding.
As soon as the incident was reported, rescue teams rushed to the spot and transported the dead and injured to nearby hospital by ambulances.
The hospital administration said that seven people were killed and eight were injured in the result of the incident, all possible medical facilities were being provided to the injured.
