PM Imran returned home in on Friday after completing a two-day official visit to Uzbekistan
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Prime Minister Imran Khan returned home in on Friday after completing a two-day official visit to Uzbekistan, Dunya News reported.
PM Imran participated in the International Conference on “Central and South Asia Regional Connectivity: Challenges and Opportunities,” during his visit to Uzbekistan.
The Conference was attended by ministers and high-level representatives from Central and South Asia as well as other important countries, international organizations, international financial institutions, think tanks and scholars.
Prime Minister Imran Khan also visited Shrine of Hazrat Imam Bukhari (RA) in Samarkand and offered fateha. Doors of the shrine were especially opened for the Prime Minister and his delegation.
The Prime Minister also visited the Mausoleum of Amir Taimor in Samarkand and paid homage to the great Muslim warrior.
Federal ministers Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Fawad Chaudhry Sheikh Rashid Ahmed, Ali Zaidi and other high ranking officials also accompanied the Prime Minister.
