The citizens have turned to the streets as electricity crisis has worsened in Karachi.

The electric supply is suspended for last 36 hours due to faults which have not been repaired so far.Women and children blocked the road against non-supply of water in Lines area of Karachi.The protesters burnt tyres on the road. They said that life has become miserable due to loadshedding.The citizens turned to the roads against power shutdown in several areas of the city including Abul Hassan Esfahani Road, Malir, Jail Chorangi and Civil Lines. The residents are forced to spend their time on footpaths.
