QUETTA (Dunya News) - One terrorist was killed and two Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) personnel were wounded in exchange of fire in Quetta on Monday night, Dunya News reported.

According to details, the CTD conducted a raid in Goharabad area at the Saryab Road in Quetta on an intelligence-based report during which the terrorist opened fire and also hurled a grenade on the raiding party.

The law-enforcement agency personnel returned the fire during which one terrorist was killed. At least two CTD personnel were also wounded in the operation.

According to CTD spokespersons, the killed terrorist was involved in sectarian target killing and attacks on security forces. The CTD officials also recovered explosive material and arms from the terrorist hideout.
