Govt ministers term Shehbaz's APC as tantamount to weakening parliament
LAHORE (Dunya News) - Government Ministers termed the idea of All Parties Conference (APC) of Leader of the Opposition Mian Shehbaz Sharif as ridiculous and tantamount to weakening the Parliament.
Asad Umar in a statement on twitter said that the All Parties Conference is a tradition of the dictatorship era. The largest all-party conference in a democracy is the parliament.

Holding legislative dialogue outside parliament is tantamount to challenging the supremacy of parliament.
On the other hand Federal Minister Fawad Chaudhry said on Twitter that Shehbaz Sharif s proposal for an all-party conference to discuss electoral reforms by bypassing parliament is ridiculous, as such decisions are made within parliament. It is becoming part of the agenda to weaken the parliament which is very unfortunate.
