Pakistan reports 34 deaths from COVID-19, lowest since April

Pakistan has so far conducted 13,857,250 coronavirus tests

LAHORE (Dunya News) - Pakistan has reported 34 deaths in the last 24 hours by novel coronavirus as the number of positive cases has surged to 942,189. The nationwide tally of fatalities has jumped to 21,723 on Monday.

According to the latest figures by the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) 1,019 persons tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.


Province-wise Details


Punjab remains the worst-hit province in terms of deaths and cases followed by Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Till now 10,516 individuals have lost their lives to the epidemic in Punjab 5,243 in Sindh, 4,224 in KP, 772 in Islamabad, 566 in Azad Kashmir, 294 in Balochistan, and 108 in GB.

Furthermore 344,065 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Punjab, 328,184 in Sindh, 136,074 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 82,139 in Islamabad, 26,232 in Balochistan, 19,783 in Azad Kashmir and 5,712 in Gilgit-Baltistan.


Tests and Recoveries


Pakistan has so far conducted 13,857,250 coronavirus tests and 39,214 in the last 24 hours. 878,740 patients have recovered in the country whereas 2,676 patients are in critical condition.
