Punjab Group of Colleges to provide free education to the children's of police martyrs
LAHORE (Dunya News) – The Punjab Group of Colleges has decided to provide free education to the children of the martyred police personnel and give 50pc discount in fee to the children of injured policemen.
The MoU was signed by Punjab Group of Colleges Executive Director Prof Sohail Afzal and DIG Police Welfare Agha Yousuf at a ceremony held at the IG s office.
On the occasion, Additional IG Finance Farooq Mazhar said that Punjab Group of Colleges has been taking best measures for the children of police officers and personnel. The standard of education of all the institutions of Punjab Group of Colleges is very high, he added.
He said that he would request Sohail Afzal to continue taking steps for the children of officers and soldiers.
Sohail Afzal, Executive Director, Punjab Group of Colleges, said on the occasion that the entire group is ready at all times for the education of the children of Punjab Police.
Additional IG Finance Farooq Mazhar, Additional IG Operations Sahibzada Sultan, DIG Operations Sohail Sukhera and PSO to IG Sohaib Ashraf were also present on the occasion.
Commemorative shields and gifts were also exchanged at the end of the ceremony.
IG Punjab Dr. Inam Ghani called on Prof. Sohail Afzal and thanked the Punjab Group of Colleges and presented a souvenir.
