Pakistan should take the lead in dealing with Palestinian situation, Siraj-ul-Haq urges FM
The two leaders had a telephonic conversation on Friday
LAHORE (Dunya News) - Leader Jamaat-e-Islami Sirajul Haq has telephoned Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi and said that Pakistan should take the lead in the current situation regarding Palestine.
According to details, a telephonic conversation took place between Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi and Sirajul Haq of Jamaat-e-Islami in which the deteriorating situation in Palestine was discussed.
Siraj-ul-Haq said that the whole nation is on one page regarding Palestine, Pakistan should take the lead in dealing with the situation. A clear and unequivocal position should be taken at the OIC meeting, he added.
Shah Mahmood Qureshi said that he was in touch with the foreign ministers of other Muslim countries and assured that a unified strategy will be adopted on the Palestinian issue.
