Pakistan reports 4,113 coronavirus cases, 119 deaths in 24 hours

Pakistan has so far conducted 12,010,519 coronavirus tests

LAHORE (Dunya News) - Pakistan has reported 119 deaths in the last 24 hours by novel coronavirus as the number of positive cases has surged to 841,636. The nationwide tally of fatalities has jumped to 18,429 on Wednesday.

According to the latest figures by the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) 4,113 persons tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.


Province-wise Details


Punjab remains the worst-hit province in terms of deaths and cases followed by Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Till now 8,741 individuals have lost their lives to the epidemic in Punjab 4,687 in Sindh, 3,466 in KP, 698 in Islamabad, 491 in Azad Kashmir, 239 in Balochistan, and 107 in GB.

Furthermore 310,616 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Punjab, 287,643 in Sindh, 121,099 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 76,696 in Islamabad, 22,776 in Balochistan, 17,465 in Azad Kashmir and 5,341 in Gilgit-Baltistan.


Tests and Recoveries


Pakistan has so far conducted 12,010,519 coronavirus tests and 44,838 in the last 24 hours. 738,727 patients have recovered in the country whereas 5,211 patients are in critical condition.
