Govt, private colleges closed in 25 districts of Punjab, including Lahore
LAHORE (Dunya News) - Due to rapid increase in Coronavirus cases Higher Education Department has closed government and private colleges in 25 districts of Punjab including Lahore.
Colleges in 25 districts of Punjab were closed under the directions of NCOC. A letter issued by the Department said that colleges are being closed in districts with more than five percent corona cases.
Universities in these districts will continue their educational activities as per the SOPs issued by the Higher Education Commission. Intermediate classes are also being closed in these districts.
Educational activities will continue in the remaining districts as per Corona SOPs, said letter.
