After Daska win, PML-N eyeing NA-249 Karachi by-election
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Following a convincing win in NA-75 Daska repoll, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has set its sights on the upcoming by-election in NA-249 constituency of Karachi. Party Vice President Maryam Nawaz is set to pay a three-day visit to the city soon.
Sources said that Maryam will lead a rally from the airport to the city on arrival in Karachi. She will also address corner meetings ahead of the by-election in NA-249.
This will be Maryam Nawaz’s first power show in Sindh after Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM)’s split with the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP).
Sources said that Maryam Nawaz is likely to leave for Karachi on April 24. PML-N’s local leadership has started forming committees to welcome the daughter of the former prime minister who will also meet businessmen and other important people during her visit.
