Pakistan has so far conducted 10,584,877 coronavirus tests

LAHORE (Dunya News) - Pakistan has reported 98 deaths in the last 24 hours by novel coronavirus as the number of positive cases has surged to 705,517. The nationwide tally of fatalities has jumped to 15,124 on Thursday.

According to the latest figures by the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) 5,329 persons tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.


Province-wise Details


Punjab remains the worst-hit province in terms of deaths followed by Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Till now 6,793 individuals have lost their lives to the epidemic in Punjab 4,520 in Sindh, 2,519 in KP, 591 in Islamabad, 386 in Azad Kashmir, 212 in Balochistan, and 103 in GB.

Furthermore 267,612 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Sindh, 267,612 in Punjab, 94,880 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 63,499 in Islamabad, 19,999 in Balochistan, 13,873 in Azad Kashmir and 5,070 in Gilgit-Baltistan.


Tests and Recoveries


Pakistan has so far conducted 10,584,877 coronavirus tests and 49,816 in the last 24 hours. 623,399 coronavirus patients have recovered in the country whereas 3,942 patients are in critical condition.
