Pakistan has so far conducted 10,347,730 coronavirus tests

LAHORE (Dunya News) - Pakistan has reported 84 deaths in the last 24 hours by novel coronavirus as the number of positive cases has surged to 682,888. The nationwide tally of fatalities has jumped to 14,697 on Saturday.

According to the latest figures by the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) 4,723 persons tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.


Province-wise Details


Punjab remains the worst-hit province in terms of deaths followed by Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Till now 6,523 individuals have lost their lives to the epidemic in Punjab 4,506 in Sindh, 2,417 in KP, 574 in Islamabad, 363 in Azad Kashmir, 211 in Balochistan, and 103 in GB.

Furthermore 266,173 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Sindh, 228,356 in Punjab, 90,262 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 60,197 in Islamabad, 19,679 in Balochistan, 13,176 in Azad Kashmir and 5,045 in Gilgit-Baltistan.


Tests and Recoveries


Pakistan has so far conducted 10,347,730 coronavirus tests and 50,186 in the last 24 hours. 609,691 coronavirus patients have recovered in the country whereas 3,490 patients are in critical condition.
