'Public will not follow covid SOPs when PM, federal ministers don't wear face mask'
Murtaza Wahab stressed that covid-19 is a reality, not conspiracy.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Sindh government spokesperson Murtaza Wahab Monday said public will not follow the coronavirus standard operating procedures (SOPs) when Prime Minister Imran Khan and federal ministers do not wear face mask.
Murtaza Wahab talked to media and stressed that covid-19 is a reality, not conspiracy. He said PM Imran Khan is talking about taking precautions against coronavirus after thirteen months when he has contracted the virus himself.
The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader went on to say that Imran Khan made fun of the Sindh government when it asked to follow the SOPs and the federation accused the province of destroying the economy.
The covid positive individuals are harming their friends and family by coming out of homes, he said while urging people to wear face mask and receive coronavirus vaccine.
The PPP leader said the anti-polio drive will continue till April 4. No polio case has been reported from July 2020 in the province, he told.
