Maryam Nawaz criticizes NAB for postponing hearing
LAHORE (Dunya News) - Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Vice President Maryam Nawaz said that we will not become an easy prey this time after her appearance in NAB office was postponed.
While criticizing National Accountability Bureau (NAB), she said that anti-corruption watchdog has postponed the hearing of her case citing coronavirus but on the other hand Prime Minister Imran Khan who contracted Coronavirus, held a meeting with ministers.
Maryam Nawaz was addressing media after meeting with a delegation of BNP-Mengal, she alleged that the NAB has now turned into an institution of political victimization adding that NAB sent her summon notice right after when Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) announced long march.
Maryam Nawaz claimed that she was attacked by NAB during her last appearance in 2019.
She said that the opposition leader in the Senate will be from Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz.
Earlier the NAB postponed the hearing of Maryam Nawaz scheduled for March 26 due to rising coronavirus cases.
