PAF rehearsals for Pakistan Day: Airspace in twin cities to remain partially closed

The Civil Aviation Authority has informed all the commercial airlines regarding the airspace closure

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - The airspace of twin cities, Rawalpindi-Islamabad, will remain partially suspended for five hours daily for PAF rehearsals for Pakistan Day celebration scheduled for March 23, Dunya News reported on Tuesday.

The airspace over the twin cities would remain partially closed from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm. During the time combat aircraft would start rehearsals for the annual March 23 parade.

The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has informed all the commercial airlines regarding the airspace closure. However, the flight operation from Islamabad International Airport will continue as usual.
