Sheikh Rashid shortens Qatar visit, returns to Pakistan today
Sheikh Rashid will hold one-on-one meeting with Prime Minister Imran Khan today (Tuesday).
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Minister for Interior Sheikh Rashid Ahmed has shortened his visit to Qatar and is scheduled to return to Pakistan tonight (night between Monday and Tuesday), Dunya News reported.
According to details, Sheikh Rashid, who was in Qatar on a two-day official visit, has shortened his trip due to prevailing political situation in the country. He is scheduled to hold one-on-one meeting with Prime Minister Imran Khan today (Tuesday).
Sheikh Rashid Ahmed Sunday arrived in Doha on two-day visit on Sunday mainly to attend the Milipol Qatar – an international exhibition for homeland security and civil defence.
During the visit, the interior minister will also meet the Prime Minister of Qatar Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al Thani and convey a special message from Prime Minister Imran Khan for Qatari Emir Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani.
