Decision regarding Schools will be made on Wednesday: Shafqat Mahmood
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Federal Minister for Education Shafqat Mahmood has said that the decision regarding closure of schools will be made tomorrow amid rising Coronavirus cases in the last one week.
Minister for Education Shafqat Mahmood while talking to Dunya News program "Dunya Kamran Khan Kay Sath" said that the process of vaccination for the elderly people across the country is being started from Wednesday, March 10. He hoped to take control of the situation as soon as possible.
He said that a meeting of the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC) was held today to review the situation of Coronavirus in the country in which the future strategy was considered.
Talking during the program, he said that the last one week has seen an increase in the number of coronavirus cases in Pakistan but the situation is not the same as it was in November or December last year.
Shafqat Mehmood said that the next course of action will be decided in the meeting to be held on Wednesday while the decision regarding closure of schools will be made tomorrow which will be attended by education ministers of all provinces.
