PM Imran summons cabinet meeting on Tuesday
The federal cabinet will discuss a 16-point agenda during the meeting.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Prime Minister Imran Khan has summoned the federal cabinet meeting on Tuesday (March 9) to discuss the country’s economic and political situation, Dunya News reported.
Prime Minister Imran Khan will preside over the federal cabinet meeting to be held at the Prime Minister’s office. The cabinet will discuss a 16-point agenda during the meeting.
According to sources, the federal cabinet will give approval to salary and allowances of the head of the Broadsheet Commission while approval of donations to the SAARC COVID-19 emergency fund is also part of the agenda.
The federal cabinet will be briefed on the Islamabad Metro Bus project. The cabinet will also give approval to State Bank of Pakistan amendment bill while the approval of appointment of Member Finance in NEPRA Applet Tribunal is also part of agenda.
The federal cabinet will also approve draft of Pakistan Institute of Education Bill 2021. The appointment of Managing Director of NTDC will also be approved during today’s meeting.
The cabinet will ratify decisions taken by the Economic Coordination Committee and Cabinet Committee on Energy. The Federal Cabinet will also ratify the decisions taken by committee on CPEC during its previous meeting.
