Saudi govt fulfilled all requirements of justice in Jamal Khashoggi case: FO
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Pakistan Foreign office spokesperson Zahid Hafeez Chaudhri has said that Saudi government met all the requirements of justice in the murder case of Jamal Khashoggi, and extended Pakistan’s support to Saudi government in this regard.
Reacting to the US report on the murder of Jamal Khashoggi, Foreign Office spokesman Zahid Hafeez said, "we have seen the intelligence reports from the US administration." The reports are based on intelligence about the assassination of Jamal Khashoggi in the form of a public release.
The Foreign Office spokesman said, we have seen that the Saudi government has declared the assassination of Jamal Khashoggi against the rules and values of the kingdom.
He said that the culprits involved should be investigated and punished. The Saudi government has fulfilled all the requirements of justice in this case. Pakistan recognizes the efforts of Saudi government to bring to justice those involved in the murder of a journalist.
