Economic Coordination Committee to meet on Friday
According to sources, the ECC will discuss an eight-point agenda during the meeting.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - A meeting of the Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) of the Cabinet will be held on Friday in Islamabad, Dunya News reported on Wednesday.
The ECC meeting will be presided over by Finance Minister Dr Abdul Hafeez Shaikh. According to sources, the ECC will discuss an eight-point agenda during the meeting.
Sources said that approval of supplementary grant for special communication organization on the recommendation of Ministry of Information Technology and Telecom is part of the agenda.
The ECC will also give approval of outstanding payment from Pakistan Steel Mills to German Company. The ECC will also give approval to provide communication support for Ehsaas Programme while a committee will be set up during the meeting to resolve taxation issues in the telecom sector.
