KHUZDAR (Dunya News) - The security forces have on Wednesday foiled a major terrorism bid in Khuzdar, a city in Balochistan province, and seized 10 hand grenades from a passenger van, Dunya News reported.
According to details, Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) personnel conducted a timely operation at the National Highway in Khuzdar and recovered 10 hand grenades from a passenger van going to Quetta from Khuzdar.
According to CTD spokesperson, the hand grenades were hidden in a tyre loaded in the van and were transported to be used in terrorist activities in the province.
The spokesperson further informed that two accused were also arrested during the operation. An FIR has been registered against the arrested person and further investigation is ongoing.
