Opposition wants Iftikhar Chaudhry, Rafiq Tarar, Malik Qayyum to investigate Broadsheet scandal: Fawad Chaudhry

ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) - Federal Minister for Science and Technology Chaudhry Fawad Hussain said Saturday that the opposition wants a commission comprising Rafiq Tarar, Iftikhar Chaudhry and Malik Qayyum to investigate the Broadsheet scandal.
In his statement on Twitter, Fawad Chaudhry said he knew that whenever someone with integrity would investigate the opposition, there would be an outcry, which is exactly what is happening now.
“You have two options, either return the looted money or go to jail”, he said to the opposition.
In another tweet, Fawad Chaudhry wrote that PML-N and PPP should bring a new leadership forward as the future of these two families is bleak. There should be democracy in political parties and they should be organized on an institutional basis, he added.
The Minister further said that democracy cannot flourish in the country unless there is a mechanism to change the leadership of political parties and they should rise above personalities.
