CM Sindh approves grant of Rs 170 million for KMC
The Sindh Chief Minister also set up a committee to take KMC out of the financial crisis.
KARACHI (Dunya News) - Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah on Thursday approved a grant of Rs 170 million for Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC), Dunya News reported.
The Sindh Chief Minister also set up a committee to take KMC out of the financial crisis.
Presiding over a meeting to review the financial condition of KMC, Murad Ali Shah said that KMC could not pay the salaries of senior officers in November and December due to financial crisis.
The Chief Minister directed KMC to run its parks and huts as per policy. He also directed to hand over responsibility back to KMC to collect mobile phone tower taxes in the city to make KMC financially stable.
