KARACHI (Dunya News) – In the wake of increasing coronavirus cases, the local authorities imposed micro-smart lockdown in seven Union Councils (UC) of District West of Karachi, Dunya News reported on Monday.
According to district administration notification, micro-smart lockdown has been imposed in seven union councilors of Orangi Town and Mominabad divisions. The micro-smart lockdown will remain in force from December 29 to January 11.
As per notification, a ban has been imposed on pillion riding, social events, and commercial activities during the lockdown period in the aforementioned areas. All the industrial units in these areas will also remain closed.
However, grocery stores, medical stores and shops selling essential items will remain open during this period.
