ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi Monday said suspension of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) visas for Pakistan is temporary and will be ended soon.
Shah Mahmood Qureshi talked to media and said the government is working to solve the Pakistani community’s problems in the UAE. He said he apprised the UAE foreign minister of the Kashmir issue.
The minister said he talked about Pakistan’s role in the Afghan peace process with the UAE leadership, listened to the Emirates’ position over ties with Israel and presented Pakistan’s clear stance over the matter.
He said there is no pressure on Pakistan to recognize Israel and Islamabad cannot form any ties with Tel Aviv until Palestine issue is resolved permanently. India is promoting terrorism and using territories of other countries against Pakistan, Qureshi remarked.
