Moulana Tariq Jameel recovers from coronavirus
He was admitted to the Combined Military Hospital Rawalpindi.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Renowned religious scholar Moulana Tariq Jameel has recovered from novel coronavirus and tested negative on Saturday.
The religious scholar thanked everyone for their special prayers and said that more prayers are needed for complete recovery from the deadly virus.
Earlier on December 13, he took to Twitter and informed his followers about testing positive for COVID-19 adding that he had been feeling unwell for the past few days.
He was admitted to the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) Rawalpindi on the advice of doctors.
Maulana Tariq Jameel is a prominent scholar who is also one of the most popular preachers in Pakistan. He belongs to the Tablighi Jamaat group and his lectures focus on the subject of self-purification, avoidance of violence, observance of Allah’s orders and pursuing the way of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
Maulana Tariq Jamil continuously named as one of The 500 Most Influential Muslims in the world by the Royal Aal al-Bayt Institute for Islamic Thought in Jordan from 2013 to 2019. The religious scholar stood 40th of a list ranking the world’s most “influential” Muslims in 2019.
