Ghulam Sarwar Khan invites opposition to hold talks with govt

RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) - Federal Minister for Aviation Ghulam Sarwar Khan has once again invited the opposition for talks with the government but said that the government was making the offer from a position of strength. He also assured that PPP will not follow through on the plan to resign from assemblies.

Addressing a press conference in Rawalpindi, Aviation Minister Ghulam Sarwar Khan said that that the Prime Minister has invited the opposition for talks but the government would never compromise on the process of accountability.

He invited the opposition to come and sit with the government in order to discuss election reforms, Kashmir issue and the rivers but warned that the government would not budge on NAB laws and its stance against corruption.

The federal minister said that NCC is holding weekly meetings amid the ongoing second wave of coronavirus, the opposition should go ahead and come up with some suggestions to tackle the problem.

The Aviation minister also talked about India and said that it wants to spread terrorism in Pakistan and it no secret that there is a high alert in this regard.
