ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Political Communication Dr. Shahbaz Gill on Friday has suggested the lawmakers of opposition parties to stop fooling the nation and directly submit their resignations to speakers of the assemblies.
In a statement, the special assistant has warned the leaders of Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) to call off their drama as they will not get anything by holding rallies.
The members of PDM are corrupt and responsible for the destruction of Pakistan, he added.
Meanwhile, Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry said that respected members from both opposition and government sides should step forward for negotiations. We have to reduce tension and aggression among us, he suggested.
The minister further said that politics of protest should be postponed for the wellbeing of the people.
On the other hand, Special Assistant to Chief Minister of Punjab for Information Firdous Ashiq Awan said that stick-wielding groups are showing the anxiety and stress of PDM leaders. Sharif family is again targeting politics for their own interests, she stated.
Firdous Ashiq further added that hurling stones and threats at the national institutions has become habit of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N).
