Govt will end after completion of constitutional term, not rallies: Shah Mahmood Qureshi
MULTAN (Dunya News) - Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has said that those hoping to bring down the government with rallies will have to keep waiting as the PTI government will only end after the completion of its constitutional term.
The Foreign Minister said that PTI has ended the rotten and corrupt system of Pakistan and brought about development and change, which the PDM cannot stomach. The politicians in the PDM are, in fact, enemies of the country’s development.
He said that there was great concern over the increasing cases of coronavirus in the country and asked how politicians who put human lives in danger can be well wishers of the public.
Shah Mahmood said that Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) should have gauged their popularity from the results of the Gilgit Baltistan elections.
The Foreign Minister said that parties involved in the PDM are working at the behest of foreign powers to spread chaos in the country.
Talking about CPEC, he said that our future and that of the region is linked to the project, we will protect the corridor and bring its projects to fruition.
The Foreing Minister also said that Pakistan will continue to fight for the legitimate rights of Kashmiris at every forum.
