NAB seeks record of compensation for police martyrs from Sindh police
KARACHI (Dunya News) – In a probe against corruption in Sindh Police, NAB Karachi has demanded the record of compensation paid to martyred police personnel.
NAB has written a letter to Assistant IG Welfare Sindh Police to submit all records including record of payments made to the heirs of martyrs during four years.
According to NAB officials, records for the financial year 2012 to 2016 have been sought. A list of martyred police personnel at the district level has also been sought.
According to the NAB letter, records of scrutiny for payment of compensation, medical certificates and other documents of the martyred personnel have also been sought.
