FBR exceeds tax target by Rs 16 billion from July to November
FBR collected Rs 1686 billion in taxes against a target of Rs 1670 from July to November.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has exceeded its tax collection target by Rs 16 billion for a period from July to November 2020, Dunya News reported on Monday.
According to the five months tax data of the Federal Board of Revenue, the FBR collected Rs 1686 billion in taxes against a target of Rs 1670, exceeding the tax collection target by Rs 16 billion.
Sources said that Rs 348 billion were collected in taxes in the month of November. The target for tax collection in the month of November was Rs 346 billion. In November, Rs 2 billion more tax was collected than the target.
