Rawalpindi: Five schools, one girls college closed as COVID-19 cases detected
According to the notification, these educational institutions will remain closed till November 21.
RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – At least five schools and a girls college were closed by district administration after Covid-19 cases were detected in students and staff members, Dunya News reported on Friday.
According to the notification issued in this regard, Govt Girls Higher Secondary School No 2 Murree Road, Govt Boys High School, Gharibabad Rawalpindi, Govt Girls High School Kotli Sattian, Govt Girls High School, Mandra Gujjar Khan, Govt Girls Higher School MC Teli Muhallah Rawalpindi and FC Women College Kashmir Road Rawalpindi have been closed till November 21.
Meanwhile, Pakistan has reported 37 deaths in the last 24 hours by novel coronavirus as the number of positive cases has surged to 352,296. The nationwide tally of fatalities has jumped to 7,092 on Friday.
According to the latest figures by the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC), 2,304 persons tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.
