Ceremony, rally in solidarity with Kashmiris held at Punjab CM House

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Punjab Chief Minister House conducted a ceremony and a rally in solidarity with the people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) as Pakistanis and Kashmiris observe Black Day on Tuesday (today).

Punjab CM Sardar Usman Buzdar and Governor Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar participated in the event organized by the Punjab Kashmir Committee. Kashmiri anthems were played in the ceremony which was attended by people in large numbers including provincial ministers.

Usman Buzdar said on the occasion that it has been over a year since lockdown in Kashmir was imposed by India. While paying tribute to the just struggle of Kashmiris, the Punjab CM vowed to continue support for the people of Kashmir and said the day is not far when they valley will get freedom.

Chaudhry Sarwar said we want to give a message to Kashmiris that we are standing shoulder-to-shoulder with them until their freedom. India is committing atrocities in Kashmir and is running away from referendum because it knows that the people of Kashmir will vote in favor of Pakistan, he added.

Usman Buzdar and Chaudhry Sarwar also condemned blasphemous caricatures in France and blast at seminary in Peshawar.
