Gujranwala rally: Police prepare lists to arrest opposition leaders, workers
Separate lists comprising a total of 1,430 persons have been prepared.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Ahead of the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) rally in Gujranwala, police have on Thursday prepared lists to arrest opposition leaders and workers.
According to details, the law enforcement agencies briefed the government officials over the lists comprising names of Members National Assembly (MNAs), Members Provincial Assemblies (MPAs) and other workers.
It has been learnt that separate lists of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) leaders have been composed including a total of 1,430 persons.
Category A list comprises 225 leaders, category B list includes 125 persons and category C list has 848 individuals in it.
Let it be known that the Pakistan Democratic Movement, an alliance of major opposition parties, has been allowed to hold public meeting at the Jinnah Stadium, Gujranwala on October 16.
