PM Imran summons cabinet meeting on Tuesday
The federal cabinet will discuss a 15-point agenda during the meeting.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Prime Minister Imran Khan has summoned the federal cabinet meeting on Tuesday (October 06) to discuss the country’s economic and political situation, Dunya News reported.
Prime Minister Imran Khan will preside over the federal cabinet meeting to be held at the Prime Minister s office. The cabinet will discuss a 15-point agenda during the meeting.
According to sources, the cabinet will approve a decision to keep government vehicles at the disposal of the Prime Minister s Office. The cabinet will be briefed on losses and gains made by the Pakistan International Airlines (PIA).
The federal cabinet will also approve the extension of the additional charge of the director general of the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA). The federal cabinet will also be briefed on economic indicators and the revival plan of Pakistan Railways.
The Federal Cabinet will approve the change in the pay structure of the Electronic Certification Accreditation Council employees and the appointment of the Executive Director of the State Life Insurance Corporation.
The nomination of non-official members of the Islamabad Wildlife Board is also on the agenda of the cabinet meeting. The cabinet will approve the appointment of the Secretary of the Inter-Board Committee of Chairman and the date of implementation of the Legal Aid and Justice Authority Act, 2020.
Sources further informed that the cabinet will endorse the decisions of the Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) and the cabinet committee on legislation.
