PML-N's Nehal Hashmi, sons detained by police for assaulting cops

Nehal Hashmi's sons assaulted cops inside the Saudabad Police Station in Karachi on Friday night.

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader and former senator Nehal Hashmi and his two sons were sent into lock up by police after senator s sons assaulted cops inside the Saudabad Police Station in Karachi on Friday night, Dunya News reported.

In the footage obtained by Dunya News, it can be seen that Nehal Hashmi s son Naseer Hashmi assaulting a police official by grabbing his neck inside the Saudabad Police Station. Nehal Hashmi can also be seen in the footage yelling at the policemen.

According to SSP Korangi, Faisal Abdullah, Naseer Hashmi had a fight with someone in Malir area and when a police party reached the spot he misbehaved with the police officials and tore their uniform.

Police arrested Naseer Hashmi from the spot and brought him to Saudabad Police Station. When Nehal Hashmi got the information of his sons detention he also reached the police station to inquire about the incident.





Taking advantage of the father s presence, Naseer Hashmi again misbehaved with the policemen and tore the uniforms of two officers while grabbing one official by the neck.

On the other hand, Nehal Hashmi s son Naseer Hashmi said that the police tried to stop him and his family members. Police tried to come near my family. When I tried to stop them they beat me and my mother and also broke my mobile phone.
