NCOC directs crackdown on SOPs violation as more restaurants, marriage halls sealed in Karachi
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Provincial authorities on Friday have closed 103 restaurants in Karachi for violating standard operating procedures (SOPs) to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
According to details, six marriage halls have also been sealed for not using face masks while attending the visitors.
Meanwhile, National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) has directed all the provinces and federating units to crack down on SOPs violations in indoor restaurants and marriage halls.

In a tweet, Minister for Planning and Development Asad Umar said indoor restaurants and marriage halls are emerging as high contributors to COVID-19 spread.
He said we must not allow irresponsible behaviour of some to put the health of everyone at risk.
