Bilawal Bhutto said Imran Khan’s sister and special aides have serious allegations against them but NAB does not summon them. He added that targeting politicians cannot stop the path of public resistance nor the journey of the Pakistan Democratic Movement.

Shahbaz Sharif ringleader of money laundering case: Shahzad Akbar

Adviser to the Prime Minister on Accountability and Interior Mirza Shahzad Akbar has said that Shahbaz Sharif was a public office holder. In 10 years, the assets of the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) President and his family have increased immensely.

Shahzad Akbar said that NAB presented all the evidence before the court. Shahbaz Sharif was on interim bail in the case. He could not be properly investigated in the case. Shahbaz Sharif was accused of laundering more than Rs7 billion.

Shahbaz Sharif arrested for his corruption: Fayyaz-ul-Hassan

Punjab Information Minister Fayyaz-ul-Hassan Chohan has said that Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) president Shahbaz Sharif was arrested for his corruption and dishonesty.

Fayyaz-ul-Hassan Chohan while talking to Dunya News said that Shahbaz Sharif’s arrest is the result of his actions over the last forty years, especially the last ten years.

He said that Courts and accountability bodies gathered evidence against Shahbaz Sharif after years of sweating. Last time, on the order of arrest, Shahbaz Sharif had hid in his house.

Minister said that several references have been filed against him in the NAB, which is being investigated. More than a dozen culprits have been arrested in Rs9.5 billion money laundering case through Ramzan Sugar Mill alone. Many of them have become full witnesses and have provided complete evidence to the NAB, he added.

He alleged that Sharif family used characters like Sharafat Masih, Manzoor, Mushtaq Cheeni, Masroor Ahmed, Nisar Gul for corruption.

The entire corruption and money laundering office was run by his cash boys under the auspices of the Sharif family, said Fayyaz-ul-Hassan.

He said the accusation that the government is using the NAB for political revenge is baseless.
