Jamaat-e-Islami announces solidarity day with people from Karachi to Chitral on October 14

KARACHI (Dunya News) - Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Senator Siraj-ul-Haq, while announcing the Solidarity Day from Karachi to Chitral on October 14, said that if fair elections held, the mayor of Karachi will be from Jamaat-e-Islami.

According to details Jamaat-e-Islami organized a march on the rights of Karachi in which a large number of citizens and workers participated. In his address, Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Siraj-ul-Haq said that if the people of Karachi are satisfied then the country will develop. Not only immigrants but also Sindhis, Balochis, Punjabis and Gilgits live in Karachi.

Siraj-ul-Haq said that Pakistan needs an honest and organized party. Crying will not solve the problems of Karachi, people will have to come out for its future. October 14 will be a day of solidarity for the people of Karachi across the country.

Criticizing the government s policies, he said that its only policy was to twist the necks of the people by raising prices. It is the policy of Jamaat-e-Islami to hold accountable all thieves, new or old.

He said that corruption was on the rise, people used to pay bribe for illegitimate work, now paying bribes for legitimate work too. Prime Minister, instead of taking u-turns should take the right path.
