SC raises questions on NAB arrests after indictment of accused

Supreme Court grants interim bail to Nadeem Qadir Khokhar.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Supreme Court of Pakistan Monday raised questions on arrests made by National Accountability Bureau (NAB) after indictment of the accused in the case.

During the hearing, Justice Munib Akhtar asked that why NAB wants arrest of the accused despite the fact that he is facing the trial. Does NAB wants to make arrests only because it has the authority to do so, court remarked.

Supreme Court also granted interim bail to Nadeem Qadir Khokhar, who is an accused in a corruption case.
