Chief of Army Staff General Parvez Kayani has said that tribal people are strength of the nation.

Addressing the opening ceremony of Wana Cadet College, the army chief said that the armed forces would return to their barracks when the residents of the tribal area take up their responsibilities.He said that tribesmen and Pakistan armed forces are fighting side by side against terrorists. He said that development projects worth Rs 20 billion have been started in the tribal areas. He said that peace would return to the areas once the tribesmen start to live their lives according to their customs and traditions.
