Another case of polio reported in Balochistan
QUETTA (Dunya News) - Another case of polio has come to light in Balochistan province after which the number of cases this year has increased to 19.
According to the health department, a new case of polio was reported in Qila Saifullah district of Balochistan. The polio virus has been confirmed in a one-year-old child.
The number of affected children has risen to 19 after the new case. This is the first case of polio reported from Qila Saifullah in 2020.
Earlier, polio cases were reported in Quetta, Pishin, Zhob, Qila Abdullah, Jhal Magsi and Chaghi. Polio cases have also been reported from Jaffarabad, Dakki, Sohbatpur, Sibbi and Naseerabad.
