Reasons behind dissolution of media strategy committee surface
Committee was dissolved after approval from Chief Minister of Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Reasons behind dissolution of Media Strategy Committee and sacking of over 50 government spokespersons have surfaced.
According to sources, CM House expressed anger over irresponsible statements by some members of the committee on sensitive issues including tweets on motorway incident.
Sources further claimed that statements of some members on news channels were not according to the policy of government. It was also reported that number of members and spokespersons had surpassed 55 and advisors of the information minister used to introduce themselves as government spokespersons.
Committee was dissolved after approval from Chief Minister of Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar.
