Bilawal terms Federal govt Karachi transformation plan a good start
KARACHI (Dunya News) - Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Zardari has termed the development package of Rs1100 billion by the federal government as a good start.
Bilawal Zardari said that out of the amount announced by the federal government, Rs 800 billion is for the projects of Sindh government.
He further said that the remaining Rs 300 billion are for projects of the federation and called the Rs 1.1 trillion package a good start for the development of the city.
The PPP chairman also said that when the floods came during the rule of Asif Zardari, we had helped the people with the Watan card and now that the people of Sindh are in need of relief work, Prime Minister Imran Khan should also join in to help.
Bilawal Zardari said that flood victims are in distress, their livelihoods and property is endangered, they should be helped by taking initiatives such as Watan or Pakistan cards.
