Sindh Govt decides to appoint Iftikhar Shalwani as Administrator Karachi

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Sindh Government has decided to appoint Iftikhar Ali Shalwani as Administrator Karachi, Dunya News reported on Friday. The notification of his appointment will be issued very soon.
According to Chief Minister House sources, the provincial government has decided to appoint former commissioner Karachi Iftikhar Shalwani as Administrator Karachi.
The decision was taken at a meeting held at Chief Minister House. It was decided in the meeting to appoint Iftikhar Shalwani, a 21-Grade officer of Pakistan Administrative Service, as Administrator Karachi.
Iftikhar Shalwani was removed from the post of commissioner Karachi last week and was appointed as Secretary Local Government.
