PM Imran asks interior ministry to expedite tabling anti-torture bill in NA
Imran Khan said torture is unacceptable in a civilised democratic society.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan has on Thursday asked the interior ministry to expedite tabling Pakistan’s anti-torture bill in the National Assembly.
The premier took to Twitter and maintained that torture is unacceptable in a civilised democratic society and goes against the spirit of Islam, our constitution and our international legal commitments.
